A gyermeket nevelő hallgató a gyermeke felett szülői felügyeletet gyakorló hallgató. 

A támogatásiidő-kedvezményt és az átsorolást a 2024/2025. tanév tavaszi félévében kell első alkalommal alkalmazni. Amennyiben az önköltséges hallgató már befizette a 2024/25/2.félévi önköltséget, kérjük, a kedvezményre való igénybejelentésében kezdeményezze ennek visszafizetését. A visszafizetést az állami ösztöndíjas finanszírozási formára való átsorolás után teljesíti az intézmény.

A kedvezményben részesüléshez igénylést kell leadni, amit az erre szolgáló nyomtatványon elektronikusan kell feltölteni a Moodle rendszer Tanulmányi ügyintézés kurzusának 30 év alatti házas, gyermekes hallgatók kedvezménye témájában található leadási helyen. 

Határidő a 2024/2025 tanév tavaszi félévében: március 14. péntek.

A kérelemhez csatolandó dokumentumok: házassági anyakönyvi kivonat, a gyermek(ek) születési anyakönyvi kivonata vagy örökbefogadást igazoló okirat(ok), (magyar állampolgároknál, amennyiben dokumentumok nem állnak rendelkezésre) a Kormányhivatal által kiállított a személyiadat- és lakcímnyilvántartásból származó igazolás, amely tartalmazza a házasságkötés, valamint a gyermek születésének időpontját. A szülői felügyeleti jogot külön igazolni nem kell.

Az igénylést az a hallgató adhatja be, aki:

• 1995. január 31. után született
  • magyar állampolgársággal vagy
  • a szabad mozgás és tartózkodás jogával rendelkező személy (EGT-állampolgár) vagy
  • Magyarország területén élő hontalan, menekült, oltalmazott, menedékes, befogadott, huzamos tartózkodási jogosultsággal rendelkező, vagy
  • a szomszédos államokban élő magyarokról szóló törvény (a továbbiakban: kedvezménytörvény) hatálya alá tartozó, de magyar állampolgársággal vagy a szabad mozgás és tartózkodás jogával nem rendelkező személy
• magyar állami ösztöndíjas és önköltséges hallgatók egyaránt jogosultak, az önköltséges hallgatók átsorolás folytán, és a magyar állami ösztöndíjas hallgatók is csak az igénylés benyújtása alapján válnak jogosulttá a kedvezményre.

A magyar állami ösztöndíj és a kedvezmény igénybevételéhez szükséges tanulmányi követelmény: az előző aktív félévvel együtt összesen (tehát az utolsó két aktív félévben) 15 kredit és 3,00 tanulmányi átlag teljesítése. Hitéleti képzésben nem áll fenn kötelezettség a magyar állami ösztöndíjas képzés többi feltételének (diplomaszerzés) teljesítésére, ezért nem kell a magyar állami ösztöndíj feltételeinek elfogadásáról szóló nyilatkozatot tenni.

A kedvezmény utoljára abban a félévben érvényesíthető, amelyben a hallgató betölti a 30. életévét. Amennyiben a tanulmányi követelmény nem teljesítése miatt átsorolásra kerül a hallgató önköltséges képzésre, a kedvezményes átsorolás nem alkalmazható ismételten, hanem végleg megszűnik. A korábban magyar állami ösztöndíjas hallgató a támogatásiidő-kedvezménye megszűnését követően továbbra is magyar állami ösztöndíjasként folytatja tanulmányait, de támogatott félévei számába az aktív félévei ettől kezdve beszámítanak.

Benefit available for married students under 30 years of age raising children

Information on a provision of Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education entering into force from February 1, 2025

Based on the benefit, the semester with a Hungarian state scholarship up to the age of 30 does not count towards the period of support of eligible students.

According to the new provision of the law, the semesters starting from the semester following the date of birth or adoption of a child for a married student, and starting from the semester following the date of marriage for a student with children and ending before the semester following the student’s 30th birthday, shall not be taken into account when calculating the period of state support (which is 12 semesters as per Hungarian regulations).

Married students studying in self-financed education must be transferred to a Hungarian state scholarship program from the semester following the date of birth or adoption of their child, or students with children must be transferred to a Hungarian state scholarship program from the semester following the date of marriage, if they have not yet reached the age of 30 on the starting day of the semester.

A student with a child is a student exercising parental supervision over their child. The student is entitled to the subsidy period benefit even if they have already exhausted the subsidized time frame available to them either at the time of transfer or upon admission as a new student.

The subsidy period benefit and the transfer may be applied for the first time in the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. If the self-funded student has already paid the 2024/25/2nd semester tuition fee, he/she should initiate a refund in the application. The repayment will be made after the transfer to the state-funded program.

To receive the benefit, an application must be submitted, which must be uploaded electronically on the form provided for this purpose in the Moodle system under the Theme of Benefit for married students with children under 30 years of age in the Study Administration course.

Deadline for the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year: Friday, March 14.

Documents to be attached to the application: marriage certificate, birth certificate of the child(ren) or document(s) proving adoption, (for Hungarian citizens, if documents are not available) a certificate from the personal data and address register issued by the Government Office, which contains the date of marriage and the child's birth. Parental custody rights do not need to be separately certified.

The application can be submitted by a student who:

• was born after January 31, 1995
  • has Hungarian citizenship or
  • has the right to free movement and residence (EEA citizen) or
  • is a stateless person, refugee, protected person, asylum seeker, admitted person, or has a permanent residence right living in Hungary, or
  • is a person who falls under the scope of the Act on Hungarians Living in Neighbouring States (hereinafterreferred to as the Benefit Act) but does not have Hungarian citizenship or the right to free movement and residence
• both Hungarian state-financed and self-financed students are eligible, both become eligible for the benefit only upon the submission of the application.

Based on the benefit, the Hungarian state scholarship semester up to the age of 30 is not included in the student's support period. Study requirement: 15 credits in total (i.e. in the last two active semesters) and a 3.00 grade point average, including the previous active semester (i.e. in the last two active semesters). In a non-degree program, there is no need to declare acceptance of the conditions of the Hungarian state scholarship program, as there is no related (degree) obligation.

The benefit can be applied for the last time in the semester in which the student turns 30. If the student is transferred to self-financed training due to failure to meet the study requirement, the preferential transfer cannot be applied again, but will be permanently terminated. A student who previously received a Hungarian state scholarship will continue to study as a Hungarian state scholarship student after the termination of his/her support period benefit, but his/her active semesters will be included in the number of supported semesters thereafter.
